11.02.2017NOT for the modern man.. This is an old fragrance. But it doesn't really smell old to me. It does smell weird though- at least in the opening. Very harsh, screechy lavender assaults your nose upon first spraying. Some people complain of a "Play Doh" smell. I'm one of them. It definitely smells like that. Weird! But, once the vanilla (a note I don't normally care for) comes through, the weirdness ends. It becomes a very nice, comforting scent. It's not too sweet and it's not at all feminine, but it also doesn't strike me as particularly masculine either. I enjoying wearing it as a scent of the evening. I've yet to wear it to work and probably never will.

8.10.2015True wild lavender perfume, a classic. This fragrance has survived for nearly two decades in the pretty much the same shape/form... Thankfully, this does not smell like a room freshener... Instead this smells very similar to my lavender essential oil from NOW Foods, like wild lavender herb... The lavender combines with a vanilla (which thankfully does not smell like cupcakes) and creates a very masculine and likable fragrance. Logevity around 4-6 hours.
