17.02.2017The only shave cream I use. This shaving soap lasts me about 8 months. It is easy to apply with a brush and soothe your bread, resulting in a smooth comfortable shave. I have used The Art of Shaving products for more than 20 years. That says it all.

16.06.2015Great product but you need to practice using it. This is a replacement shaving soap and needs to be put into the bowl intended for it. The trick is to wet your brush without soaking it and then to keep swirling it around over the soap until a thick lather is formed. Only by experience do you know how wet to make the brush. Once you have this, this style of soap/lather/foam lasts for ages. Don't expect a thick foam, like you would get from a can of shaving foam but do expect a good slippery lather that makes your face smell like sandalwood for hours.
