It has a beautiful, subtle masculine fragrance, but it's almost like I feel the astringent qualities begin working their magic on my face automatically - no subtlety in the area where it matters the most. There is definitely some alcohol in this, so those with sensitive skin may need to be aware, but if you're going to throw fragrance on top of it, it's a great bridge between shaving and applying fragrance. It seems to soften the skin, yet get the pores ready for the alcohol that is in most fragrances. Definitely will get this this again.
